DEDICATED OUTSIDE AIR

The largest moisture load in many commercial and industrial buildings is directly related to outdoor air. Fresh air must be brought into buildings to maintain proper indoor air quality. Building codes require large quantities of outside air to promote healthy indoor air quality. This air can bring with it large quantities of water vapor, which can be difficult to control using conventional cooling-based equipment. ARID-Dry dedicated outdoor air desiccant dehumidifiers reduce the humidity before it enters the space resulting in improved indoor air quality.

ARID-Dry Dedicated Outdoor Desiccant Air
Supply Units

Our units provide low-humidity discharge conditions necessary to maintain a dry environment. The interior spaces can then be conditioned by simply controlling the temperature. Another advantage of active desiccant technology is the ability to use natural gas or other economical heat source to reactivate the desiccant rotor.

The units can use a combination of active desiccant dehumidification with passive desiccant energy recovery, cooling and heating to deliver dry, tempered air. This low humidity air is then supplied to centralized corridors or directly into recirculating-air handlers to provide improved indoor air quality.
